The Minister of Information, Culture and Awareness of the Republic of Somaliland, Hon. Barkhad Batuun, has highlighted the country’s achievements, stressing that they are firmly grounded in a pursuit of international recognition and a strong sense of national resilience.
Speaking on the nation’s progress, the Minister pointed to visible development and political milestones as evidence of the Somaliland people’s enduring commitment to preserving their sovereignty and statehood. He underscored that these accomplishments are the result of sustained public effort and unity.
Emphasizing the theme of “Recognition and Resilience,” Batuun described international recognition as central to Somaliland’s current success. He stated that the achievements credited to both the nation and its leadership ultimately reflect progress toward global acknowledgment.
The Minister further noted that Somaliland’s people have demonstrated determination and steadfastness on the world stage, maintaining their national identity while continuing to assert their right to recognition.
