President sacks agriculture, planning ministers, and various state top officials

THT- The President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE. Muse Bihi Abdi issued presidential decrees on 27^th June, 2022, on appointing and dismissing some of the officials of the Government of the Republic of Somaliland, two cabinet ministers included;

The Presidential Decree read as follows:

Purpose: Dismissal.

1. To: Omar Ali Abdillahi;

Minister of Planning and National Development.

2. To: Mohamed Haji Osman Jama;

Minister of Agricultural Development.

3. To: Abdirahman Ali Abdi;

Deputy Minister of Information, Public Awareness and Culture

4. To: Ahmed Hassan Nur;

Deputy Minister of Planning and National Development.

5. To: Suleiman Awad Ali Bukhari;

Chairman of the National Insurance Agency

6. To: Sahra Adan Yusuf;

Vice Chairman of the National Insurance Agency.

7. To: Abdiwasac Mohamed Yusuf;

Vice Chairman of the Quality Assurance Agency.

8. To: Ahmed Abokor Mohamed;

Director General of the Ministry of Transport and Road Development.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As you know, the responsibility of the state is to rotate and delegate to those who can handle it. Therefore, I understand that from today onwards I will remove you from your previous positions. Thank you for your time in office.

Mohamud Jama Warfa – Deputy Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Development

5. Europe Abib Abdi Omar – Deputy Minister of Agricultural Development
6. Abdulmajid Ibrahim Mumin – Deputy Minister of Employment, Social Affairs and Family
7. Mukhtar Mohamed Ali Chairman of the Quality Assurance Agency.
