The Commander of the Somaliland National Army, Brigadier General Nim’an Yusuf Osman, presided over a ceremonial farewell for Colonel ED Norris, the outgoing Commander of U.S. Special Operations in East Africa, whose tenure has concluded. In the same event, Brigadier General Osman warmly welcomed Colonel Benander, the incoming U.S. Special Operations Commander for the region.

In a heartfelt address, Brigadier General Osman expressed deep appreciation for Colonel Norris’s contributions to fostering robust cooperation between the Somaliland National Army and U.S. forces during his term.
