THT-The Somaliland Electoral Commission has met UK head of Somaliland office Hon. Stuart Brown, accompanied by a Political and Relations Bureau official Mr Khadar Muhumed.
The meeting between the two sides is said to have been discussed in preparation for the planned elections by the end of 2020 and ways of the setting of election plans.
The British government is one of Somaliland’s partners in supporting the democratization process, and has played a role in all prior elections hold in the country, both economically and technically.
