Hon. Abdillahi Hassan Aden, Republic of Somaliland’s Minister of Finance and Economic Development, conducted a working inspection visit to the Port of Berbera, where livestock shipments were departing for export markets.
During the visit, the minister emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening livestock export services through the Berbera port, describing the sector as a key pillar of Somaliland’s economy.
“Efforts will be intensified to enhance livestock export services, which play a major role in our country’s economy,” the minister stated.
The inspection tour was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, the Mayor of Berbera District, the Director of Berbera Customs, and members of the Sahil regional administration.
