The Director General of the Republic of Somaliland’s Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Mohamed Hassan Salebaan, officially launched a two-day intensive training program for 25 officers of the Somaliland Customs Guard Force.
The workshop, part of the ministry’s broader drive to strengthen staff capacity, focuses on government financial management regulations and advanced customer service excellence.
Officials say the training aims to deepen force’s understanding of relevant laws while significantly raising service quality, ensuring tax collection and related operations are conducted with greater transparency and full compliance with the nation’s financial systems.
