Central Bank and International Experts Visit Berbera Port to Boost Somaliland’s Economic Growth

Berbera Port, a vital economic hub for Somaliland, welcomed a high-level delegation today, led by the Minister of Livestock, Hon. Omar Shuaib Mohamed, alongside Mr. Hamze Khaire Deputy Governor, senior officials from the Central Bank and international economic experts.

The visit focused on evaluating the port’s operations, with particular emphasis on goods management, livestock exports, and the integration of modern technologies to enhance efficiency. Mr. Ali Deri’e Ahmed, the port manager, provided a comprehensive overview of the port’s recent developments and its potential to drive regional and global trade.
