THT-President H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi praised the relationship his nation shares with US and Taiwan.

He congratulated the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate of the United States on how they value diplomacy and democracy and thanked the chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the US Senate, Mr. Risch, for his great contribution to the issues of recognition and relations between the United States and the Republic of Somaliland.
Similarly, the US Senate Foreign Affairs Committee said they are confident of finding friends in Africa who support Taiwan’s cause, including the Republic of Somaliland.
In a message, they said, “Recognition of Taiwanese partnership from the international community will only continue to grow in the face of a dangerous and malign #China”.
