THT- The President of the Republic of Somaliland H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi sent condolences to the British Royal Family and the people of Britain upon the death of the Queen Elizabeth II.
She is the one who signed the independence of Somaliland in 1960.

In a statement posted on Twitter, the President said that her efforts in community service will inspire generations to come. “On behalf of the Government and people of Somaliland, I send my condolences to the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“Her dedication to public service and unwavering leadership will inspire many generations to come.
“The late Queen Elizabeth II signed the document that gave Somaliland its independence in 1960”.
The President’s statement is part of the condolence messages sent by world leaders on the death of the British Monarchy.
