THT-Mobile circuit of the Supreme Court have settled several backlog cases of both criminal and civil procedures at the Eastern Regions rural areas.
The Supreme Court judges on a working trip in the eastern regions of the country, expedited judgments in 125 cases occurred in those areas.
The Supreme Court consisting of 9 judges and 8 aides accompanied by 2 prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General started their circuit in the capital city of Berbera of Sahil region on 15/12/2021, then continued on to Togdheer, Sool and Sanaag regions.
The 125 cases were categorized as 65 civil and 60 criminal ones. The court further handled 25 complain cases.
