The President H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro has replaced both the state Attorney and Solicitor General in a wide-ranging administrative change that has seen several officials sacked, some swapping offices and others in new appointments.
Of note is the new youthful appointment of the Attorney General Maulid Abdi Musa, and the new Solicitor General Professor Mohamoud Hussein Farah: a change that is seen would go down well in revitalizing the said offices of the judicial sector.
The changes also see the incumbent Togdeer governor swap places with his Gebiley colleague.
Former civil service chief and later the country’s deputy representative has now been named the new ambassador to Ethiopia, a change that also see the Somaliland Ethiopian embassy get a new deputy too.

- Deputy Representative of Somaliland to Ethiopia — Mohamed Abdi Abdullahi Galool.
- Governor of Awdal Region -Hassan Dahir Haddi (Iid),
- Governor of Sanaag Region — Mohamed Hassan Faahiye (U’lus),
- Governor of Gabiley Region — Mohamoud Ali Suleiman (Ramaah),
- Governor of Togdeer Region – Mohamoud Hassan Suleiman (Doob)
- Governor of Badhan – Yasin Mohamed Sharmarke
- Deputy Governor of Togdeer Region — Ahmed Mohamed Ali (Afyare).
- Deputy Governor of Sanaag Region — Said Ibrahim Mohamed Samatar.
- Deputy Governor of Haysimo Region -Mukhtar Mahmoud Jama.
- Member of Somaliland’s National Peace Committee — Ali Mahmoud Haji Dirir.
- Legal Adviser to the President Attorney – Ali Bashe Mohamed Farah.
- Special Envoy of the President to the African Union and IGAD- Mahmoud Rage Ibrahim Guled.
