The Mayor of Hargeisa Eng. Abdirisaq Mohamed Farah (Wiiwaa), received over the week a large delegation from Kenya, which included parliamentarians, academics and senior officials, at his parlour.
The meeting focused on strengthening relations and cooperation between the two sides, with particular focus on the development of local governments, the exchange of experiences in urban management, the development of social services and how to create a sustainable partnership that is beneficial to both parties.
The Mayor thanked the delegation for their visit, stating that the Hargeisa Municipality welcomes any cooperation that can lead to development, enhancement of social services and the exchange of experiences in urban management.
For their part, the members of the Kenyan delegation praised the progress made by the Hargeisa city, expressing their commitment to strengthening relations, cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experiences, in order to achieve progress and fruitful cooperation between the two sides.
