The Director of Hargeisa General Hospital, Dr. Ahmedweli Dahir Haddi, and the Director General of the Somaliland Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Ahmed-zaki Mohamoud, participated in the African Asia Pacific Health Innovation & Global Partnership Summit held in Taipei, Taiwan.
The international summit brought together government leaders, healthcare experts, and organizations from across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific to discuss healthcare innovation, global partnerships, strengthening health systems, and expanding international cooperation.
Their participation highlights Somaliland’s ongoing commitment to improving healthcare services and building stronger international partnerships to gain knowledge, share expertise, and explore new opportunities that will contribute to the development of the country’s health sector.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ahmedweli Dahir Haddi expressed hope that the partnerships and outcomes of the summit would play a significant role in enhancing healthcare services and improving the quality of care for communities across Somaliland.
