The Chairman of the WADDANI Party, Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan, has received former WADDANI Party Secretary for the United Nations, Jama Ayanle Ismail (Feyte), at his office following the latter’s recent short visit to Somaliland.
During the meeting, Chairman Hirsi warmly welcomed Jama Feyte and commended him as a distinguished Somaliland intellectual and journalist whose dedication and contributions have played a significant role in the WADDANI Party’s long political journey.
Speaking about the visit, Chairman Hirsi said he was delighted to host Jama Feyte at his office, describing him as an accomplished professional who has remained closely connected to both Somaliland and the party despite living abroad.
“It was a pleasure to receive Mr. Jama Ayanle Ismail (Feyte), the former WADDANI Party Secretary responsible for the United Nations, who is an educated professional and journalist from Somaliland and who recently arrived in the country on a short visit,” Hirsi stated.
The WADDANI chairman further highlighted Feyte’s unwavering dedication to the party, noting that he had been among the active figures who contributed tirelessly throughout the party’s lengthy period of political struggle.
“Mr. Jama Feyte is a hardworking and committed leader who invested considerable effort in the WADDANI Party during the long years of struggle. I commend him for continuing that dedication and for never abandoning the cause,” Hirsi added.
The meeting underscored the continued bond between WADDANI’s leadership and its long-serving members and supporters, both at home and abroad, as the party seeks to strengthen its political agenda and engagement with Somaliland communities worldwide.
