Hon. Hamse A. Khaire, the Deputy Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Somaliland, has arrived in Vienna to participate in the prestigious ACCIS international conference focused on banking services, credit information systems, and financial innovation.
According to a statement shared on Facebook, officials warmly welcomed Hamse Khaire to the Austrian capital, where global leaders and experts in credit data, Open Finance, and fintech innovation have gathered for high-level discussions on the future of financial services.
The ACCIS conference is regarded as one of the key international forums bringing together policymakers, banking executives, and financial technology specialists from across the world to explore modern solutions in the banking and financial sectors.
The visit comes as part of Hamse Khaire’s wider working tour across several European countries. Earlier this month, he also attended the Somaliland 18 May Independence Day celebrations held in Sweden.
The participation of Somaliland’s central bank leadership in such international forums reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen global financial engagement and modernize the country’s banking sector.
