Taiwan has invited an international delegation of journalists from across the world to explore the country’s advancements in technology, security, diplomacy, and democratic governance, in a high-profile media exchange program aimed at strengthening global engagement.
Representing the Republic of Somaliland in the prestigious delegation is Salma Abdirahman Sheikh Walaaleye, the Director and Editor-in-Chief of Somaliland Review Magazine, following an official invitation extended by Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The week-long visit will see members of the international media delegation travel across several Taiwanese cities, where they are scheduled to tour key national institutions and strategic centers showcasing Taiwan’s innovation and development.
The delegation will also hold meetings with senior officials from Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss international cooperation, media engagement, regional security, and democratic values.
Salma Walaaleye’s participation highlights Somaliland’s growing international media presence and reflects the strengthening ties between Somaliland and Taiwan.
