The Second Deputy Speaker of the Republic of Somaliland’s House of Representatives, Hon. Ali Hamud Jibril, has described the Lawya-Addo-Borama road project as a transformative initiative that will reshape social values and open a new future for communities in Awdal and Selel regions.
Speaking during the official signing ceremony of the contract for the road connecting Lowyacado and Borama, Deputy Speaker Ali Hamud stated: “The Lawya-Addo-Borama Road Project will fundamentally change the values of the society in these areas.”
He highlighted that the new highway will significantly boost economic growth in Awdal and Selel as well as the entire country. The project is also expected to bring communities closer, accelerate business and trade, enhance public awareness, and promote harmonious coexistence.
This strategic road is viewed as a major milestone for development and prosperity in Somaliland’s western regions.
