Republic of Somaliland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdirahman Dahir Adan, on Wednesday warmly received Academician Awale Ibrahim Shirwac, the former Minister of National Planning and Development, at his office.
The Foreign Minister expressed deep appreciation for Awale Shirwac’s unwavering and dedicated efforts in strengthening and realizing Somaliland’s statehood and sovereignty.
Minister Abdirahman Dahir Adan emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will always welcome valuable advice, insights, and rich experiences from all patriotic citizens who continue to serve the nation in different capacities.
In response, Academician Awale Ibrahim Shirwac commended the Foreign Minister and the entire leadership of the ministry for their outstanding contributions in elevating the international stature of Somaliland’s statehood. He noted that their work has brought to fruition the long and determined struggle for Somaliland’s recognition and sovereignty.
