In a landmark move to advance gender equality, the House of Representatives of the Republic of Somaliland officially launched the Gender Advisory Office at a ceremony held at the Damal Hotel in Hargeisa. Spearheaded by Hon. Yasin Haji Mohamoud Hiiray, Speaker of the House, the initiative aims to amplify women’s voices and integrate their perspectives into parliamentary decision-making.
