The initiative, aimed at updating records and ensuring accurate support for displaced populations, marks a significant step in addressing the needs of refugees and asylum seekers in the country.

According to ministry FB statement , the first phase focused on individuals residing in Hargeisa, where thousands of refugees and asylum seekers were processed. The program is part of a broader effort to streamline humanitarian aid distribution and improve access to essential services such as shelter, food, and medical care.
