The Minister of Transport and Road Development Hon. Raabi Abdi Mohamed laid the foundation stone for a road connecting Yubbe and Erigavo in Sanaag region.
The minister who named the road “Connection” noted that upon the completion of the road construction vehicles plying the route will most definitely triple.
The minister called upon the members of the community in the area to eke in any support to see to it that the road is built to the required satisfaction. He said that the works will start quite soon and that in future the road is expected to reach as far as Badan and Dahar.
On the other hand, he asked the community of Yubbe to participate in the construction of the road, and urged them to provide the necessary funds to build it.
