The police have arrested Aydarous Mohamed Abdilahi (Sha’rawi) for treason.
The Police Force said that the accused has confessed to crimes committed against the nation according to Article 184 of X.C.G.
He is said to have spread false propaganda about the National Armed forces, while on the other hand he supported the group fighting in Lasaanod.
The suspect is said to be under investigation and will be referred to a competent court to answer to the charges.
