Mu’adin is the new Finance Ministry DG, Keysar is back in the diplomatic saddle

The Head of State H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi has appointed Mr. Mohamed Hussein Osman, popularly known as Mu’adinka, to be the new Director General of the treasury at the Finance Ministry replacing Mohamed Abdi Gurhan through a Presidential decree as per Art 90 of the constitution as regards Presidential Executive Powers.

On the same note, the President similarly appointed veteran Ambassador Keysar Abdillahi Mohamed to be the country’s representative to the European Union (EU).

By thus, Mr. Mohamed Mu’adinka has been moved from the National services programme where he served in the same capacity.

The directives were contained in a press circular released by the Presidency on Saturday 14th January 2023 that tersely specified the executive orders on the dismissal, transfer and appointment of the officials.
