The Minister of Interior of Somaliland, Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, has officially handed the position of Director General of the Ministry of Interior to Mohamed Yusuf Ismail.
At the handover ceremony held at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Interior, Ministers and other officials were present, the director of staff Mrs. Amina Haji gave details of the duties of the ministry to the nation, the number of departments and employees.
The Minister of Interior of Somaliland, Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, who spoke at the forum, welcomed the new Director of the Ministry of Interior with an open heart.
The Director General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mohamed Yusuf Ismail, has welcomed his new post with the new Ministry and thanked the President of the Republic of Somaliland for his mandate.
DG Mohamed promised that he will work well with the Minister of the Ministry of Interior and the staff of the Ministry in general.
On the other hand, the minister of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Awareness Saleban Yusuf Ali Koore, who spoke about the time they worked together with the Director General of the Ministry of Interior Mohamed Yusuf Ismail, and praised him for his good work, ability, and leadership.
Minister Koore added that Director Mohamed Yusuf is one of the future leaders of the Republic of Somaliland.
