The President of the Republic of Somaliland H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi and a large delegation in his entourage who have been on an official trip to the eastern regions of the country for over a week inaugurated several projects in the area.
He was warmly welcomed at the regional headquarters of the Sarar region, Ainabo with enthusiastic crowds.
He cut the ribbons of the newly built two-storey Bank of Somaliland and also the regional Ministry of Water Resources offices which has been completed.
In addition, the President together with members of the Cabinet of Ministers, regional and district administrations in Sarar and Aynaba inspected various projects of the government in Sarar region which are in progress.
They include the town’s football stadium and a large water dam that is being dug in the outskirts of Ainabo which will be a major relief in addressing the perpetual water shortages.
Ululations and rousing receptions dotted wherever the Head of State toured.
