THT-The Hargeisa Mayor, Cllr. Abdikarim Ahmed Moge exuded joyful emotions as he reflected the happiness of Hargeisa residents who came out in their hundreds to welcome home the Head of the State and his delegation from his US maiden and triumphant visit.
“We hilariously welcome you back home, your excellency,” beamed the Mayor.
“The People whom you represented abroad have been following your moves as you defended and fought for their aspirations”, he noted.
He pointed out that everyone in the country was enthusiastic about the President’s trip abroad, hence had high expectations, hence held it with esteem.
He noted that the people were more than steadfast in their patriotism hence, “their joy is quite vivid, you can see the audience.”
The Mayor was speaking at the Egal International Airport, where a podium was set for the reception of the President H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi.
