THT-The President H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi on behalf of himself, the Government and the people of Somaliland sends his heartfelt to the condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the late Hassan Mowlid Ahmed on his demise.
In the same breath the Head of State sent similar to the people of the nation and in particular the intellectuals, elders, scholars and politicians on the passing on of the late Hassan which happened on Wednesday the 5th of January at the Hargeisa General Hospital hence laid to rest the following day.
He described the deceased as a great person who left the country and the people with a legacy in the important role he played in bringing peace to the people of Somaliland and rebuilding the country. The late Hassan was a Minister of Information in the administration of the late President Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal and was the Ambassador of France and Djibouti during the government of President Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo hence served his country selflessly.
The President prayed to God to shower mercy on the soul of the deceased and urged the next of kin and the populace at large to have stronger faith in this trying moment.
