India and Somaliland to collaborate on Education and Health

THT-Somaliland and India has agreed to collaborate Education and Health, on discussions held last week.

Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland H.E. Abdirahman A. Ismail (Seyli’i) and his entourage on a working visit to India has  with the Tamilnadu state Minister of Education Hon. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamizhi, and other leaders.

During the meeting, both sides have discussed on educational cooperation’s and ways and means in which Somaliland students would access Indian government annual scholarships.

Minister Hon. Poyyamizhi pledged to help availing scholarships for Somaliland students India.

H.E. VP Sayli’i who had previously met with Karnataka Minister of Small and Medium Industries Hon. Murugesh R Nirani, who pledged to assist Somaliland in the area of ​​health.

Yesterday, the Vice President H.E. Saylici and his entourage who gave in an interview with the major media outlets in India spoke about the investment opportunities in the Republic of Somaliland as well as the issue of the independence of the Republic of Somaliland which is being discussed throughout India today.

Karnataka State is the eighth most populous state in India with 68.4 million people, located in southwestern India bordering the eastern state of Tamil Nadu, with an estimated population of 67.86 million, according to the 2021 census.
