THT-The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Somaliland Hon. Abdirizak Khalif Ahmed received in his office yesterday the UK Ambassador to Somalia Ambassador H.E. Kate Foster, the Head of the UK Office in Hargeisa Ambassador Stuart Brown and the Head of Political Affairs Khadar Muhumed.
The meeting discussed how to accelerate key legislation of mutual interest and how to strengthen cooperation between the British Government’s Hargeisa office and the Somaliland House of Representatives.
The British ambassadors pledged to help develop the Somaliland parliament’s relations with foreign parliaments and the international community.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Somaliland Hon. Said Mire Farah (Girre),
the House of Representatives International Relations Adviser Abdirizak Ibrahim and the Director of Planning of the House of Representatives Abdinasir Osman.
The meeting ended with an agreement and cooperation
