The President H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Mohamud Silanyo has sent a message to condolence to the family, relatives, friends and Somalilanders at large on the sad demise of the late Abdikeyd Abdillahi Aw Yusuf who passed away on Friday the 20th of March 2015 in Hargeisa.
According to a press release by the Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Suleiman Duhul the Head of State said that the deceased was one of the eminent personalities of senior citizens who put much efforts and worked hard towards the pacification and rebuilding of Somaliland so that the people and the nation became even stronger.
The President added that the late Abdikeyd also happened to be one of the major entrepreneurs in the country’s history.
He solemnly noted that with the demise of the elder, the country has lost a pillar.
The President solemnly prayed to Allah to have mercy upon the soul of the deceased and wished the family members stronger faith during this trying moment.
