Hargeisa (THT): Speaking on behalf of the Head of State, the Presidential spokesman Mr. Ahmed Suleiman Duhul thanked the populace for their undying support in all the regions, districts, towns and centres that the President’s entourage visited or passed through.
“The special thanks of tribute is hereby paid to the women fraternity who braced the cold nights and windy and dusty days to honour the President while clad with their toddlers on one hand and welcoming with twigs on the other”, said Mr. Duhul.
He similarly thanked the scores of traditional leaders, clerical members and eminent personalities and elders and youth all along the tour who voluminously supported the trip.
He particularly noted the show of unity, solidarity harmonious setting and patriotism they all depicted, especially the zealous need of Somaliland and Somalilanders to attain the objectives of their aspirations.
Mr. Duhul was speaking to both Dawan and The Horn Tribune Editors Messrs. Omar M.Farah and M.A. Egge respectively at DMG offices, immediately upon returning to the city as part of the Presidential delegation yesterday evening.
