Most of the leaders and senior officials of the HORSEED Political Association have formally joined the ruling WADDANI Party following the conclusion of prolonged talks between the two sides.
The two parties finalized their discussions Saturday 3rd October 2026, by signing a formal agreement that paved the way for the HORSEED officials and members to join WADDANI.
The HORSEED delegation was welcomed at the WADDANI Party headquarters by Chairman Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan, who was accompanied by the party’s deputy chairmen, Mohamed Haji Yusuf Waabeye, Abubakar Abdirahman Good and Abdirashid Mohamed Haji Yusuf.
Former Minister of Information, Culture and National Guidance Osman Abdullahi Sahardiid (Adani), who is also a senior WADDANI Party figure, was among those who received the HORSEED officials.
The signing ceremony was attended by several officials from the administration, alongside senior officials and representatives of the WADDANI Party.
The agreement marks a significant political realignment involving HORSEED and the ruling party, following talks aimed at bringing the two sides together under WADDANI.
