The State Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Mr. Ismail Mawliid Abdillahi, has officially inaugurated a significant workshop aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the Internal Audit Department. The session focused on reinforcing operational procedures and elevating the overall performance of the department.
The workshop brought together officials and staff to examine the critical stages of internal auditing—widely regarded as the backbone of transparency and accountability within public institutions.

Participants emphasized the need for a clear and structured work plan that outlines objectives, priorities, and guiding procedures to ensure measurable outcomes.

The importance of collecting accurate, on-site data was highlighted to guarantee the credibility and integrity of audit findings.

Attendees underscored the value of producing high-quality reports that clearly present audit results, actionable recommendations, and areas requiring improvement.

Strengthening follow-up mechanisms was identified as crucial to ensuring that recommended corrective actions are properly implemented.
