The Minister of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Somaliland, Eng. Ahmed Jama Barre, has reaffirmed that the main objective of the energy sector is to provide the people of Somaliland with affordable, safe, and reliable energy.
Speaking during the handover ceremony of the Somaliland Energy Quality Assurance Committee, Minister Ahmed Jama Barre told the newly appointed officials that they must work hard to achieve this national goal.
“Our goal that we are determined to accomplish is for the citizens of Somaliland to have access to safe, affordable, and reliable energy,” the Minister stated.
The Ministry of Energy and Mining, together with the wider government, is actively pursuing initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable and accessible energy for all Somalilanders.
