In a significant diplomatic engagement this morning, Republic of Somaliland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Abdirahman Dahir Aden, alongside his Political and Strategic Affairs Advisor, Dr. Mohamed Hamud Ahmed, warmly received a prominent international delegation at his office.
The visitors included Michael Freund, founder and leader of Shavei Israel and former Deputy Director of Communications in the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as Joel Martin Rubin, President of the Washington Strategy Group and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Senate during the Barack Obama administration.
Discussions centered on practical ways to deepen relations between the Republic of Somaliland and both the United States and the State of Israel. The delegation expressed strong commitment to transforming these connections into dynamic, results-driven partnerships rooted in robust cooperation across key areas of mutual interest.
