The Board of the Central Bank of Somaliland held its quarterly meeting today, marking the last session for the previous Board of Directors.

The meeting was chaired by Governor Abdinasir Ahmed Hersi, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was joined by Deputy Governor Hamse Abdirahman Khaire and Director General Yasin Jama Ahmed.

The primary focus of the gathering was to express deep gratitude and offer a formal farewell to the outgoing board members. During their tenure, these dedicated individuals served the bank with integrity and professionalism, generously contributing their expertise and knowledge to advance the institution’s growth and efficiency.

All board members attended the meeting, with several joining remotely via the Zoom video conferencing platform. This hybrid participation highlighted the bank’s strong commitment to connectivity, seamless collaboration, and modern operational practices.
