The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Somaliland today welcomed a business delegation from Australia and #Canada.
The delegation arrived to assess investment opportunities in the country’s mining sector and to explore ways of making direct investments in Somaliland.
Officials described the visit as an important step toward attracting foreign capital into Somaliland’s rich mineral resources. The delegation is expected to hold meetings with relevant government bodies and local stakeholders during their stay.
This visit comes as Somaliland continues to promote its mining and energy sectors to international investors.
