The summit examined strategies for securing adequate and sustainable health funding, with discussions centered on national health insurance, the role of local governments, and private-sector engagement.

The President thanked the Ministry of Health Development and international partners for organizing the summit, describing it as a key national step toward expanding healthcare services and strengthening the health system.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritizing public health, noting the shift in global donor policies and the need for Somaliland to increasingly rely on its own capacities.
