Accordingly, Premier Bank Somaliland’s services are confined exclusively to the territory of Somaliland.
The Gateway Service is a secure payment-gateway platform that enables customers to connect safely to modern digital payment services. It was launched in Somaliland in 2024 to benefit Somaliland’s business community, government, and citizens. Premier Bank Somaliland is not the only provider of this service inside Somaliland; the same service is also offered by international companies. Neighbouring countries likewise provide it through their own operating banks.
Certain social-media posts have recently spread misinformation that disrespects the separate jurisdictions, legal independence, and distinct financial systems of Somaliland and Somalia. Premier Bank Somaliland does NOT issue, operate, or participate in any E-Visa service. The motive behind this campaign is purely commercial and political agendas that have deliberately targeted the bank. Premier Bank Somaliland will never be used as a conduit for any private interests, whether commercial or political.
