The Minister of Agriculture Development, Hon. Mahmoud Ige Yusuf laid the foundation stone for vegetable traders in Burao market over the week.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the Governor of Togdeer Region, the Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Coordinator of the Ministry in Togdeer Region, heads of FAO and other officials.
The minister disclosed that the construction of this market will benefit two hundred and fifty traders.
He lauded the FAO agency for the efforts and initiatives that they have been doing in the country by always standing by the populaces and their needs, including the market on hand; he likewise noted that he hoped that the construction would be completed in time.
