Marood-jeeh Governor Keen on Strengthening Security and Regional Development

The Governor of Marood-jeeh region Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Adan Adaad, held on Tuesday a meeting with the administrators of the districts under Marood-jeeh region and the coordinators of government branches of the region on issues related to security, social issues, and the separation of powers.

He called on the officials to work together to strengthen security and associated regional development.

The governor was flanked by his deputy governor of the Maroodi-jeeh region and the regional secretary at the meeting.

The governor shared with the media the contents of the points they pondered on as;

  1. Strengthening security in the Maroodi-jeeh region.
  2. Bolstering the developing social issues, such as education, health, environment, water, agriculture, animal husbandry and so on.
  3. Monitoring ongoing development projects in the region.
  4. That the administrators and coordinators submit their plans for the first 100 days in the region.
  5. That gas stations be established in appropriate places, and that they be monitored regularly, and that they comply with the relevant regulations.
  6. Strengthening the governance system of the region, districts and coordination.
  7. Strengthening cooperation between institutions operating in the region.
  8. Strengthening the decentralization of development projects in the region.
  9. Ascertaining of the supply of goods imported from abroad and domestically.
  10. Coordinators to carry out their duties to the Nation.
  11. Developing youth skills.
  12. Promoting youth empowerment.
  13. Maintaining the orderliness of the government system and its hierarchy.
