The President of the Republic of Somaliland H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi held an important meeting with the country’s leading scholars on Thursday.
According to a press release by the Presidency, the meeting included prayers and farewells for the outgoing President of the Nation by the scholars who worked with him during his term in office.
The President thanked the scholars for the transparent cooperation they had with him during his term in office, while the scholars, in turn, thanked the President for the mutual working relationship and for the way he valued their role as scholars during his term in office.
The new President-elect Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi, popularly known as Irro, is expected to be inaugurated at the end of the week when the button of the change-of-guard would be passed on to him by his predecessor.
