Hargeisa – The government has received a South African delegation of potential investors in the country on Tuesday.
The Director General of Investment Development and Industry Mr. Mohamed Osman Said (Mohamed-Somali), Berbera Port Manager Mr. Said Hassan Abdillahi and Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mr. Said Ahmed Abdikarim and Somaliland Ambassador to South Africa Ahmed Jama Hassan were on hand to receive the large delegation.
They are from reputable companies such as Utho Capital and Gohela Construction and Projects which are located in South Africa.
They are potential investors in both industrial and banking sectors.
The Director General of Investments briefed them on the investment opportunities in the country, and the regulations and policies that encourage investment are available.
