The disaster risk management office of the local government of Hargeisa, the capital, has sent a warning to the people of Hargeisa and the drivers of vehicles, warning them to beware of impending floods due to possible heavy rains and storms.
The alerting notice of caution whose copy of which reached the news office of DMG network warned that this week may see heavy rains expected to fall in the Hargeisa and its surroundings.
They asked the community to be prepare for the drainage areas, such as valleys, dams, pools and roads.
On the other hand, they warned the motorists not to risk lives and property in area prone to flash floods, valleys and streams hence the called on the members of the community to be wary of the movements of their children.
