THT- Minister of Energy and Minerals Hon. Abdillahi Farah Abdi has ordered that “it is forbidden to undertake explorations in areas where the ministry has already searched for minerals”.
In a circular issued by the Minister of Energy Hon. Abdi on Thursday, October 27, 2022, which was sent to the mineral exploration companies, said that it is forbidden to undertake such explorations at the sites that the ministry has explored for minerals.
Minister Abdillahi said till further orders are issued, this circular will be in force.
