THT- The delegation of the first General Assembly conference of Waberi political organization converged at a city hotel to kick off their meeting. They set the ball rolling by electing the
officials to run the function as per procedures.
The Waaberi Conference which opened on Sunday 12th of September in Hargeisa, was attended by 273 delegates who unanimously voted for the steering board to run the meeting.
They thus chose; Chair person- Mohamed Miige, Deputy Chair- Suad Ahmed, Second deputy- Mawlid Mu’min, Secretary- Abdi Khayre Dirir
The Conference brought together a large number of prominent personalities of the political arena including sitting MPs and other leaders.
Members of the Political Organizations Registration Committee were present as observers in the proceedings of the Dawn Conference.
All political organizations joining the competitive political fray to vie for the final three officialdom political parties to gain the ticket of entering the presidential race are supposed to put their houses in order by holding their conferences as per the constitution before the elapse of the current month.
on the second day, delegation has unanimously approved by the Central Committee of the Waberi Political Organization which is 171 members. It was also approved by a unanimous vote of the 16-member Executive Council of Waberi Political Organization.
The conference also approved the chairman of Waberi Abdirisaaq Ibrahim Mohamed Ataash. Second Deputy chairman Mustafa Mohamed Kodax. General Secretary of Waberi Party Political Organization. Salma Abdirahman Sheikh and other Deputy chairmans.
