President wishes well national primary and secondary school exams candidates

The examinations commenced countrywide with no incidences

THT- The President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency, Muse Bihi Abdi, congratulated and wished success to all students who sat for the final exams which commenced yesterday Saturdayb11th June 2022 in all regions and districts of the country.

About forty thousand students, in eighth grades and in middle schools and fourth grades in high schools, sat for final exams across the country.

The exact number of candidates in secondary sitting for the exams were 14428, boys 8262 and 6166 girls, whereas in the primary they are boys 22924, 12815 and 1015girls. He said that this was the first time that such a large number of students have sat for the final leave exams.

In addition were 188 students who are sitting for technical and agricultural papers, for the first time.

The President at the same time wished the students to succeed in their future academic endeavors, for the benefit of their country and people, and for the continuation of their educational journey.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Somaliland National Examinations & Certification Board Mr. Daud told the media yesterday morning that the Certificate Examinations for the 4th grade of high school and the 8th grade officially started on Saturday morning in the country with no incidences.
