THT- The head of state H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi and some members of the senate and parliament paid tribute to the late president of the UAE after signing the condolence book at UAE embassy in Hargeisa. The late president of UAE Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan passed on this month.
The president was accompanied by the vice-president of the Republic of Somaliland H.E. Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismael (Sayli’i), the speaker of parliament Hon. Abdirizak Khalif Ahmed, Chief Justice Dr. Adam Haji Ali Ahmed the second vice chairman of the senate Hon. Saeed Jama Ali, the vice chairman of House of Representative Hon. Saeed Mirre Farrah (Girre), cabinet members and members of parliament and senate.
They all signed the condolence book which was opened at the UAE embassy in Hargeisa. The president was welcomed at the UAE embassy by the ambassador and other diplomatic staff.
The president had already sent his message of condolences to the government and people of UAE upon the demise of their president.
In another development the Chief Justice Dr. Adam Haji Ali Ahmed presided the taking of oath of office by four members of the registrations of political parties committee in front of the president.
