THT-The British government is called upon to recognize the independence of Somaliland and support the rebuilding of the Waheen market.
In a British parliamentary session yesterday, MP Kim has asked;
Liverpool has a long-established Somaliland community, and they were devastated when the fire destroyed wahen market in Hargeisa, so can the leader explain how FCDO are supporting Somaliland and can the leader call on foreign minister to consider granting a diplomatic recognition to bring a positive change to the country.
Rt MP Johnson’s call was warmly welcomed by the Somaliland public at home and abroad, and Deputy Minister of Finance Rhoda Elmi said.
