THT- MP Scott Perry has submitted a motion to recognize Somaliland as an independent state to the US Congress.
According to the official website of US congress, a Congressman Scott Perry drafted this motion, March 18, 2022
The move comes at a time when a high-level delegation led by President Muse Bihi Abdi is in the United States, following a series of meetings with government officials and members of both houses of the US House of Representatives, resulted in a motion Somaliland Partnership law, drafted senate members.
